SPAITECH company participated in the international defence exhibition IDEX 2019

On February 17-21, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates) hosted the IDEX 2019 (International Defense Exhibition & Conference) weapons exhibition. This is one of the largest international defense exhibitions in the world, becoming a member of which is a great honour for each company.

The Ukrainian developer of unmanned aerial vehicles, SPAITECH company, also presented its innovative developments at IDEX 2019. Visitors could explore SPAITECH products at the official booth of the biggest Ukrainian state defense industrial company UkrOboronProm.

SPAITECH represented two of its modernized unmanned aerial complexes - SPARROW and SPARROW LE to this important developmental event for weapons and defense. The first of them, SPARROW unmanned aerial complex acquired:

- Increased flight endurance up to 1h 45mins by: development new latest circuit design of UAV electronic components and their minimization; improving airframe aerodynamics; weight reduction due to the blocks layout;
- Ability to perform intellectual intelligence;
- Terrain orientation and mission planning system under signal jamming and suppression conditions;
- The ability to use the “swarn” for several platforms that perform the same mission, with the distribution of functions among themselves.

The second exhibited item from SPAITECH – a modernized complex SPARROW LE with better flight characteristics and those functions were realized in it:

- A new backup power system for all on-board consumers;
- An ability to perform intellectual intelligence;
- A terrain orientation and mission planning system under signal jamming and suppression conditions;
- 3-axis gyro-stabilized payload system and 2-axis digital stabilization of video data;
- Paired payloads to get identification and objects analysis in different spectrum bands;
- Self-learning neural networks system allowing forming and using analytical databases.

Both aerial complexes from SPAITECH attracted the attention of international experts and exhibition visitors. SPAITECH exhibition booth was also attended by representatives of state delegations and major international defense concerns, with whom SPAITECH representatives conducted negotiations on further cooperation and prospects for entering new markets worldwide.
